Obituary
Daniel Edward Blais, 54, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Daniel was born on August 22, 1965 in Springfield, son to the late Raymond and Nancy (Kiczek) Blais. Daniel was a life long resident to West Springfield, and raised his family here. Daniel enjoyed music and was a jack of all trades. Daniel is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years Jennifer L. (Avonti) Blais of West Springfield, his children Katy White of Warren, Anthony Blais of Springfield, Brandon Blais of Los Angelos, and Joe Blais of West Springfield, and cherished “Pepe” to Mikayla and Little T. He was the caring brother to Scott Blais and his wife Karen of Southwick and was predeceased by his sister Nancy Wrobel. He was the best uncle to Scott Jr., Nick, Abbie and Jake. He will be dearly missed by his best friends Dave Demusis, Todd Ulasewich and Carm Vincelette. Calling hours for Daniel will be Thursday, July 2nd from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street in West Springfield. A Funeral Home Service will follow at 6:00 PM. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
