It is with a heavy heart that our family announces the passing of an angel on earth, Linda Strange. Linda was a giver. She worked for many years taking care of patients in their homes. No one went hungry in her Sixteen Acres neighborhood and no child went without a gift at Christmas. Her door was always open to anyone in need. Linda will forever be missed by her loving family including her husband of 54 years, Donald Strange and their children, Kimberly (Mark) Strange-Bardwell, Donald (Sara) Strange and Patrick (Raquel) Strange along with her cherished grandchildren, Corey (Felicia), Jonathan, Andrew, Brayson, Robert, Brian, Gianna and Alejandra, her great-grandchildren, Autumn, Aniyah and Josephine and the added loving gifts of CJ, Cora Lee and Noah. She also leaves her brother, Timothy Davis of Trinidad, CO, a nephew, Danny Davis, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bruce Strange, Betty and Jim Ezold, and Paula and Tony Martucci, her special niece and caregiver, June Kettle and extended families and dear friends. Linda, born on June 9, 1948, a proud descendent of the Pequot Tribal Nation, was the daughter of Arthur Davis and Beryl (Geer) Davis who predeceased her along with her twin brother, Melvin Davis, sister-in-law, Johanna Strange and best friend, Joyce Sheehan. A committal service will be held on Monday at 9 AM at the MA Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam, MA 01001. Donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Springfield Office, 181 Park Ave., Suite 12, West Springfield, MA 01089. Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
