Norma (Brunetti) St. Onge, 87, passed away Monday at Baystate Medical Center. She was born on June 3rd, 1931 to the late Crescentino and Maria (Frulla) Brunetti. She spent her entire life in West Springfield and was a graduate of West Springfield High School. Norma was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and served there as a Eucharistic Minister. She loved gardening and flowers and never missed her Red Sox or Patriots play. Norma’s greatest joy in life was her family and the time and love they shared throughout her years. She was the beloved widow of Anthony “Del” St. Onge and she was previously married to the late Russell Fish. She was the loving mother of Lorrie Sweeney and her partner Dwight Scott of Sunderland, Lynn Merges and her husband David of Dover, PA, and Janet Hulseberg and her husband Kevin of Wilbraham, cherished grandmother of Shaunna Sweeney, Aaron and Austin Merges, Jake Hulseberg and his wife Kelly, Sara Hulseberg and her husband Zach Krawczyk, and Josh Hulseberg, devoted great grandmother to Jackson, Jasper, and Logan "Del" Hulseberg, and caring sister of Viola Colonna, Louise Black and Janet Brunetti Foley. She was the aunt of many, but she was especially grateful for the care given by Donna, Linda, Sandy, Michael, Darlene, Lisa and Tracey. She also leaves her stepchildren; Rev. Donna Tetrault, David St. Onge, Karin St. Onge, and Steven St. Onge. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters; Columbia Wuller, Albromo Brunetti, Letitia Boucher, Elvera Della Penna, Almerina Laramee, Raymond Brunetti, Stella Callini and Sylvia Brunetti. The funeral will be Tuesday 11 AM at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Spfld., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 Noon at St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
