Theresa (Moran) Miller, 90, passed away Sunday, September 1st, surrounded by loved ones at Armbrook. Born in Westfield on April 18, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Ruth (Fox Moran, also of Westfield. She worked in management for the Telephone Co. then became a Supervisor until she retired. Theresa was a 1948 graduate of Westfield High School. She met and married the love of her life, Raymond Arnold Miller who passed away in 2007. Theresa leaves behind her loving family, her son Richard Miller and his wife Patricia of West Springfield, her daughter Pamela (Miller) Crooker and her husband Stephen of Westfield, five grandsons, Ricky (Caroline) Miller of West Springfield of West Springfield, Randy (Jodi) and their daughter Olivia Miller of Westfield and Jake and Nick Crooker of Westfield, along with Casey Crooker of West Springfield. She leaves one brother Anthony “Tony” Moran and his wife Louise, also of Westfield. She was predeceased by her sister/best friend Shirley (Zeneski) Desabrais and sister Eleanor Sweargean of Missouri. She also leaves behind her lifelong best friend Joyce (Puff) Lucey of Hadley along with many loved nieces and nephews. Theresa loved the ocean and all the time she and Ray spent in the winter with family and friends in Venice, Florida for so many years. However, her absolute favorite time was spending time with her family, that’s when she was the very happiest. Theresa will be deeply missed by her two children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and so many close and dear friends. Thank you to the kind and loving care from all those at Armbrook who helped make her last days happy and peaceful. Rest in (Mom) for your job in this life is complete. May you continue on your journey with Dad by your side. You’ll live in all our hearts always and forever. Theresa’s wishes were to not have any services so we are abiding by her wishes. All arrangements were handled by the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home in West Springfield.
