Obituary
Alda L. Boido, 96, passed away Thurs. Jan. 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born Sept. 22, 1922 to the late Aldo and Argia Tessinari. Alda worked as an operator for the New England Telephone Co., also at the former WICO in West Springfield and Digital Equipment Corporation. She was a member of the former St. Ann Church in West Springfield. Alda used to enjoy making tortellini’s with the St. Ann Women’s Society. She leaves her loving husband of 73 years Arnold L. Boido, her son Thomas A. Boido and his wife Lynn of Southampton, her daughter Susan G. Guerrin of West Springfield and her grandsons; including Adam Guerrin and Matt. Alda was predeceased by her grandson Michael Guerrin and several brothers and sisters. Calling Hours will be held TUES from 10:15 to 11:15 at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine St., West Springfield. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Kings Hwy, West Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Unico of West Springfield, P.O. Box 1131, West Springfield, MA 01090
