Alice Pauline (Bertram) Frasco, 86, a lifelong resident of West Springfield, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016, surrounded by family. She was born in West Springfield on February 20, 1930 to the late Alice Homera (Newell) and Edward George Bertram. She was married for 25 years to the late Augustine Albert Frasco and leaves behind the second love-of-her-life of 33 years, John Carpenter. She is also predeceased by her stepson, Gerald and her son-in-law, James Savoy. Although she was primarily a homemaker, she worked part-time selling Stanley Home Products, taking oil delivery orders at Frasco Fuel, and for her late brother-in-law Richie Frasco�s Monte Cristo Liquor Mart in Holyoke. She was a longtime member of the Aoket Rebekah Lodge #189, having joined in 1951 and served as Secretary, Treasurer, Chaplain, and President. In addition to John, she will be dearly missed by her four children, Ronald and his wife Jean, Jeffrey and his husband Karl Nyberg, Gail Alice Savoy, and David and his wife Laura; nine loving grandchildren, Michael (Kristen), Bethany (Mike), Daniel, Anthony (Vicki), Nicole Alice, Jesse (Amber), Christopher (Allie), Cherie, and Heather; two great-grandchildren, Isabella Alice and Ethan; two sisters, Barbara Tetreault (John) and Betty Jackson; two sister-in-law�s, Florence and Rose; stepdaughter-in-law, Judith; step grandchildren, Christine, Gerald, and James; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends are invited to pay tribute to Alice at calling hours on Saturday, September 3rd, from 10 AM�12 PM at the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St. in West Springfield, MA. A Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM with burial to follow at Paucatuck Cemetery.
