Obituary
Alice M. (Doyle) Bouchard, 94, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 24, 1927 in Springfield to the late John and Lea (Lemire) Doyle. Alice is predeceased by her former husband, Wilfred Bouchard; siblings Henry Doyle, Raymond Doyle and Jackie Doyle; sons John W. Bouchard and Steven C. Bouchard and daughter Alice M. Patterson. She leaves behind her daughters Judith A. Bouchard, Lea R. Richards and husband Steven, Lori A. Morrow and husband James whom she lived with and helped care for her for the last five years of her life, and son Wilfred A. Bouchard and wife Mary. She also leaves behind many beloved grand and great-grandchildren. Alice was an incredibly caring and selfless person, who always put others before herself. She had a heart of gold and a smile that would brighten anyone’s day. She loved to vacation at the beach with her family and enjoyed the simple pleasures of life such as sipping her coffee on a summer morning with her daughter Lori. A very sincere thank you to Baystate Hospice for their support and making her last few months as comfortable as possible. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Alice’s name to Baystate Hospice, 30 Capital Drive, West Springfield, MA 01089. A Funeral Home Service will be held Thursday 11AM at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St. West Springfield with a calling hour from 10-11. Burial will be private.
