West Springfield- Alice L. Marion, 94, passed away Wednesday in the comfort of her home. She was born in Springfield to the late Helene (Gingras) and Joseph Dufresne. She was born and raised in Springfield and later lived in Agawam and Johnsonville, NY before settling in West Springfield 27 yrs. ago. Alice was a communicant of the St. Thomas Church in W. Spfld. She was a member of the Grange in Springfield and also the Grange in Johnsonville, NY. She trained to be an EMT and was President of the EMTs for two years. She was an avid bowler, sold Avon products and Sarah Coventry jewelry. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis A. Marion in 1994. She leaves her loving children, Dr. Lorrette Marion and Catherine Marion Ricard of W. Spfld, Irene Russo of Oviedo, Fl , Edward Marion of Montague and RuthEllen Henry of Greenfield, 12 grandchildren, 26�great-grandchildren and her sisters, Coral Wright of MD and Doreen Devine of FL. Alice also leaves several nieces and nephews. There will be a Funeral Home Service 12:30 PM Saturday at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld. Calling hours will precede the service from 10:30 AM � 12:30PM. The burial will be private in Woodside Cemetery in Poestenkill,New York.
