Alice (Riendeau) Ouimet Bua passed away Saturday peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husbands Henry Ouimet and Philip Bua, her granddaughter Dawn Ouimet, and her great granddaughter Julie Ann Ouimet. She leaves her sons; Francis Ouimet and his wife Karen, Donald Ouimet and his wife Linda, Robert Ouimet, and her daughter Diana Cieplik and her husband Richard. Alice had 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. She retired from New England Telephone and Telegraph Co. in 1977 and was a member of their Pioneers Club. She was a lifelong communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, presently St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, and she was a member and a volunteer at the West Springfield Senior Center. She enjoyed line dancing, ceramics, and sewing. Alice was an avid walker and that definitely helped her live such a long active life. The family would also like to thank her caregiver of seven years, Bronislawa Dziedzik and her husband Eugeneusz. There will be Funeral Mass Wednesday at 12 Noon at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church, 475 Main Street, West Spfld., and a burial will follow at St. Michael�s Cemetery in Springfield. Calling hours will precede the Mass from 10:30-11:30 at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Spfld. In lieu of flowers donations in Alice�s memory may be made to the Hospice Services of Western and Central Massachusetts, 1325 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills, MA 01030 or to the Highland Valley Elder Services, 320 Riverside Drive, Florence, MA 01062.
