Arlene M. (Burnett) Balathunis

Arlene (Burnett) Balathunis, 84, formerly of Ely Ave, West Springfield passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at a local nursing home. Born in Jacksonville, VT May 4, 1930. She grew up in the Town of Charlemont MA, on Legate Hill Rd, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Lena (Kenny) Burnett. She was a longtime member of the Kingdom Hall in West Springfield. Arlene was predeceased by her husband Peter Balathunis in 2006. She leaves her beloved sons, John S. of Westfield and Timothy P. of Chicopee, her siblings, Norman Burnett of FL, Francis Burnett of Greenfield, Julie Lowensburg of VT and Helen Peterson of AZ and her loving grandsons, Brandon and Blake. She was predeceased by her siblings, Lillian, Doris, Arnold, Phil, Bill, Elsey. Calling hours will be held Sat Jan 31, 2015 from 12:30-3PM at the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield.
