Obituary
Arthur W. Leigner, 77, passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2022. He was born Feb. 1, 1945 to the late Arthur and Barbara Leigner. Arthur proudly served in the US Navy Seabees during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years as a crane operator for Lane Construction before going to work as a groundskeeper for the Town of West Springfield. An outdoorsman, he was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Tatham Memorial Club and the Pioneer Valley Sportsmen Club. He enjoyed traveling with his family, especially going on cruises in the Caribbean and Alaska with his wife. But he most of all enjoyed spending time with his two adored grandchildren. Arthur leaves his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia (Petrizzo) Leigner, his daughter Joelle Leigner of Agawam, his son Arthur “Artie” Leigner and his wife Amy of W. Spfld., and his grandchildren Lylah and Lowell. Family and Friends are invited WEDS 11 AM to the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam for military honors.
