Barbara C. (Bills) Audet, 93, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, October 31, 1926, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Streeter) Bills. Barbara was a graduate of the Dean Academy in 1944 and worked as a billing clerk and secretary for the former H.R. Hunting Co and later as a home health aide. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and a member of the Women’s Club and the West Springfield Senior Center. She leaves her loving husband of 70 years, Raymond R. Audet, her beloved children, Raymond D. Audet and his wife (Nanette) of Fairfax Station, VA and Eileen M. Kaczman and her husband Kenneth of Westfield, her 5 loving grandchildren and 3 beloved great grandchildren and her beloved niece, Deborah Suchanek of Salem, OR. A calling hour will be Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 am from the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield followed by a Mass at 11 am from St. Thomas Church. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Beacon Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Donations may be made to Beacon Hospice 815 Worcester St. Springfield, MA. 01151.
