Obituary
Brian Michael Morrissette, 72, of Agawam, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 after a long battle with kidney disease. He was born April 15, 1949, the only child of the late Jacques and Lorraine (Rivard) Morrissette. Brian graduated from Agawam High School. He briefly worked for John H. Breck and then joined US Airways at Hartford, Bradley Field until his retirement after 40 years of service. Brian was a genuinely good person with a kind heart and a helping hand to anyone in need. He made friends easily and was a pleasure to work with and be with. He loved going to baseball games and trips to Florida to the winter baseball training camps. In later years, watching sports on TV. He is survived by his daughter Tammy (Mark) Newton of Agawam, Heather Pirnie of Chicopee, Darcy “Punkinhead” Morrissette of New London, CT and son Michael Morrissette of Windsor Locks, CT. Brian also leaves nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Family and close friends will gather at his gravesite on October 16,2021 at 11AM at the Agawam Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Brian’s name to a charity of your choice. Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
