C. Estelle (Wilkes) Prescott

C. Estelle (Wilkes) Prescott, 91, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Elaine Center in Hadley. Born in Albany, NY, November 23, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Forrester) Wilkes. She attended the Pratt Institute of Brooklyn. Estelle worked in the advertising department for the former Forbes and Wallace Store in Springfield. She also worked as the packaging manager for the former Stanley Home Products in Westfield. Estelle summered on Martha�s Vineyard for many years and traveled to Paris and Hawaii. Her husband, William F. Prescott died in 1988. She leaves her beloved son, Brian and his wife JoAnn of Turners Falls and her loving grandson, Michael Prescott of Medford. She was predeceased by her son, William Gary Prescott and her brother Richard Wilkes. Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4PM at the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield.
