Feeding Hills- Carla E. (Greene) Vignato, 77, passed away Friday in the comfort of her home. She was born in Springfield to the late Pearl (Felton) and Ralph Greene. She lived most of her early years in West Springfield and was a graduate of West Springfield High School. Carla worked as a bookkeeper for many years at Anchor Electric. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Parish in Feeding Hills. Carla was an avid golfer and painter. She was the former commissioner at Agawam Country Club and was a member of the Western Mass Golf Association. She was also an active member of the Agawam Senior Center. Carla was predeceased in 2011 by her beloved husband of 52 years, Gino O. Vignato. She leaves her loving children, Gina Mesick and her husband Barry of Sturbridge, Lisa Vignato and her companion, Michael Fearn of Agawam, Darlene Vignato of Agawam and Gino Vignato and his wife Jennifer of Springfield, her adored grandchildren, Jessica Gruska, Michael Gruska, Jr. Aaron and Jared Mesick and Dominick and Ethan Vignato and great-granddaughter, Trinity Rose DeVoe, her caring brother, Phillip Greene and sister, Gail Boucier. She was predeceased by her sister, Phyllis Howe. The funeral will be Tuesday 9AM at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM in Sacred Heart Church, 1065 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills. The burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery.
