West Springfield – Carol Ann (Langway) Beaudry, 67, lost her courageous
2 ½ year battle with lung cancer on Tuesday, July 16. She was surrounded
by her loving family. Carol was a lifelong West Springfield resident,
graduating from West Springfield High School in 1974 and attended
Springfield Technical Community College. Carol worked in the supermarket
industry for over 40 years. She was a General Manager at Waldbaum’s
Foodmart and a General Manager at BJ’s Wholesale Club for nearly 20
years. When she was not working, she loved spending time with her family,
watching the Red Sox, and of course, shopping. Carol loved boating, going
to the beach, and hosting family parties. She was very talented, often
completing home improvement projects and was an accomplished
seamstress. Carol was predeceased by her parents Edward and Florence
Langway. She is survived by her loving husband Michael Beaudry;
daughters Alison (Young) Chaloux and Mary Ann (Benjamin) Bilodeau;
grandchildren Jonathan Chaloux and Parker and Emma Bilodeau; sisters
Mary Ellen Hopewell, Patricia Selva (Dave Ciborowski), and Marjorie
Bellefleur; sister-in-law Cathy (Dean) Artkop; and several nieces, nephews
and great-nieces and great-nephews. Calling hours will be on Sunday, July
21 from 4-7pm at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield
St., West Springfield. Service at the Funeral Home begins at 10:30 on
Monday, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Thomas the Apostle
Church at noon with committal at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery. In lieu
