Carol A Wright

Carol A. (Blair) Wright, 77, passed away October 21, 2023, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, July 13, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Betty (Desotelle) Blair. She was a US Navy veteran. Carol worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years at Baystate Medical Center and the Veterans Hospital in Leeds. She was a very generous person who adopted many children over the years. Her beloved husband, Richard died in 2021. She leaves her loving children, Marilyn Thomlinson of West Springfield, Tamara Thomlinson of Ludlow, Crystal Smart of Holyoke, Stacy Thomlinson of West Springfield, Charlie Wright of Easthampton, Benny Wright of West Springfield, Jessica Wright of West Springfield, and Alicia Wright of Springfield, her beloved siblings, Danny Blair, Skip Blair, Joanne Plourde and Judie Saccuzzo, Lucrecia Davis, her 12 beloved grandchildren and her 10 loving great grandchildren. Her son Donald died in 2010. Calling hours will be Thursday October 26, 2023, from 4-6PM at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield.
