Obituary
Carole E. (Brown) Fulvi, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10. She was born in Springfield on April 23, 1945, she was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Archambault) Brown. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and a communicant of St. Thomas Church. Carole was the lunch director for St. Thomas School and worked for the West Springfield Park and Recreation Department.  Later, she was the administrative assistant for the West Springfield Fire Department. When her children were growing up, she was an active board member of the West Side Torpedoes and the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America. Carole enjoyed spending time with her many friends. The Senior Center, lunch dates, casino outings, shopping, her pets and family were just a few of her favorite things.  Her greatest joy was attending her granddaughters’ sporting events.  She never missed a game.  This fall and winter she enjoyed as many soccer and basketball games as she could.  The granddaughters always knew she was there because they could hear her cheering them on.  She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.  Carole will be remembered for her fun-loving nature and kindness.  Her beloved husband, Richard, passed away in July 2018. She leaves her loving children, Joyce Manchino and her husband Steven of West Springfield and Richard P. Fulvi of West Springfield, her beloved siblings, Joyce Gay and her husband Richard of CA., Paula St. Peter and her husband Norman of TX., Paul Brown and his wife Debbie of Massachusetts, her loving grandchildren, Samantha and Christina Manchino and many nieces and nephews . A special thank you to her care givers for their compassion and love during this journey.  A private service is being held with a Celebration of Life later.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
