West Springfield, Carolyn �Carrie� (Cassella) Saliba, 65, passed away Friday November 27, 2015 peacefully at home. Born in Springfield, February 3, 1950, she lived most of her life in West Springfield. She was predeceased by her father, Paul Cassella, her brother, Alan Cassella and her in laws, Nelson and Mildred Saliba. Carolyn was a graduate of West Springfield High School class of 1967 and a graduate of Westfield State University and American International College. She worked as a private tutor for many years. She leaves her beloved husband of 44 years Nelson A. Saliba, Jr, her loving mother, Sophia (Radwilowicz) Cassella of West Springfield, her beloved children, Christopher J. Saliba and his fianc� Melissa of Agawam and Kirsten A. DiBenedetto and her husband Tony DiBenedetto of West Springfield, her brothers, Albert Cassella of West Springfield and Paul Cassella of San Rafael, CA. She leaves her beloved and cherished grandchildren, Bianca, Siana, Antonio, Jr, Giuliana DiBenedetto and Michael Saliba of West Springfield. She is very loved and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren. She also leaves many loved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and brother in law, Michael Saliba and his wife Laurie, sister in law, Andrea Ingham and her husband Alfred, and sister in law, Ann Cassella. A funeral home service and calling hours will be held Tuesday December 1, 2015 from the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield with calling hours from 10-11:30 and the funeral home service starts at 11:30. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dakin Humane Society 171 Union St Springfield, MA.
