Carolyn T. (Goodfellow) Wood

West Springfield- Carolyn T. (Goodfellow) Wood, 88, passed away Thursday at Loomis House in Holyoke. She was born in Pittsfield to the late Madeline (Langevin) and John Goodfellow. Carolyn was a graduate of Cathedral High School and worked for the former James River Corporation for over 30 years, prior to that she worked at Gilbert and Barker and Bates Fullam. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Springfield and previously at the former Immaculate Conception Church in W. Spfld. Carolyn enjoyed her times at the beaches of Cape Cod and Hampton Beach. She loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events and concerts, her family was the most important thing to her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold T. Wood in 1985. She leaves her loving daughters, Maureen T. Raymond and her husband Dana of Westfield and Susan J. Berard and her husband Richard of Agawam, her adored grandchildren, Ashley Kuselias and her husband Steve, Graham Raymond and his wife Kayla, Matthew Marek and his companion Caroline Degarth and Kelsey Raymond and her companion Jesse Johnson and her great-grandchildren, Kennady Raymond and Joseph Kuselias as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the caring sister of Mary Deyette of Chicopee, Jane Moriarty of Longmeadow and Jack Goodfellow of Agawam and the late Marguerite Dubois. The funeral will be 10AM, Monday at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld., followed by an 11AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine Street. The burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-7PM.
