Cecile T. Piquette

Agawam- Cecile T. (Brusseau) Piquette, 101, of Edgewater Road passed away Tuesday, Nov.5, in Danvers, MA. She was born in Agawam on July 12, 1923, to the late Alfred and Angelina Brusseau. She lived all her life in Agawam and was a graduate of Agawam High School. Cecile was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills. She loved to travel, especially Europe, which she did many times. She was an avid golfer and played into her mid 80’s. Beloved widow of Robert Piquette, Sr. who passed away in 1993, loving mother of Robert “Bo” Piquette, Jr. and his wife Bobbie of Chester, MA, Ellen McAndrew and her husband Chris of Chelsea, VT, Mary Malinski and her husband John of Hampden, MA, and Karen Thibault and her husband Alan of Ipswich, MA, caring sister of Lucille Brusseau of Agawam, devoted grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 3. The wake will be Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 9:30-10:30 am at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 am at Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cecile’s name may be made to the Sacred Heart Church, 1061 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills, 01030.
