Charles K. “Chipper” Jahn, Jr. passed away in Springfield on May 20. Born in Springfield on May 14, 1961 to Charles and Anita (Dubuc) Jahn, Sr., he was 65 years old. Chipper lived in Wilbraham, Palmer and other Massachusetts towns before settling in West Springfield over 30 years ago.

Chipper was a carpenter and framed many homes in the area. He loved collecting Americana memorabilia and swapping stories with fellow construction workers.

In addition to his parents, Chipper was predeceased by his sister Diane “Dee-dee”. He is survived by his sisters Donna Smith of Malden and Debbie Yates of Tiverton, RI; a nephew Jeremy Smith and niece Michelle Yates.
