Charles Jason Thomas

Agawam -Charles J. (�CJ�) Thomas, 44, passed away suddenly Tuesday, August 16th, at Mercy Medical Center. He was the son of Carol (Goyette) and Gary Thomas of Little River, SC, formerly of Westfield. CJ was a graduate of Westfield High School and Westfield State University. After graduating with a degree in finance, he devoted his career to the investment side of the financial industry. Despite living for over a decade in South Carolina, he was a dedicated fan of all Boston sports teams, especially the Bruins and Patriots. An avid golfer, he loved nothing more than to spend a day golfing with his beloved son, Jason. He had recently returned to reside in Massachusetts. His loyal and loving presence will be profoundly missed by his family. In addition to his parents and his son, CJ is survived by his brother, Jonathan, sister-in-law, Karen, and his grandfather, Raymond Goyette as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was an adoring uncle to his niece, Devon and nephew, Alexander. He was predeceased by his cherished maternal grandmother Patricia Goyette, and his paternal grandparents Howard and Doris Thomas. There will be a 12-Noon Funeral Home Service Tuesday at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld., followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
