Charles "Manne" Vardakis

Obituary
Charles Manuel Vardakis, 87, passed away Sept 16th in Baystate Medical Center. Manne was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late George and Katherine Vardakis. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Manne worked as a cook in the area for many years and also was a greater at Walmart in Westfield. He will be sadly missed by his family. Manne leaves his sister Mary Goodreau and her husband Alan of W. Spfld, his brother Ulysses Vardakis, his nephews Andrew and George Vardakis and his niece Kim Dion and great nephew Tyler Dion. He was predeceased by his brother Anthony Vardakis. A Private Service was held for him in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice. The TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME WAS IN CHARGE OF THE ARRANGEMENTS.
