Clifford Halle

South Hadley � Clifford L. Halle, 69, of South Hadley passed away Wednesday August 27, while in his home, after a long battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his wife of 39 years Dorothy Halle. They were residents of West Springfield for over 35 years. Cliff was born in Berlin, NH on December 1, 1944 to the late Leo E. Halle and Virginia Pepin. Cliff was strong in his faith of the Lord and held comfort in reading his word. He continued to long for the day he would be reunited with his wife, as he missed her greatly. He stood strong in the fact, that we are all tested in this life, but found the comfort in knowing that there is so much more in Christ, after this world. Cliff worked for years in public transportation, starting as a driver for Holyoke Street Railway, Longuil, US Express of E. Longmeadow and PVTA of Springfield. He is survived by his seven children, Mathew Halle, Philip, Tony, Mark Manzi, Donna Madrid, Gee McGavin, and Angelina Fleury and their spouses, brother Roland and his wife Betty of Summerfield, FL, his nieces, nephews and many grandchildren. There will be a Funeral Home Service, Tuesday at 11AM at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld., calling hours will precede the service from 10-11am. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, Chester, MA.
