Constance (Connie) M. Dempsey (Menesale) 82 April 15, 1942-June 2, 2024 died at Baystate Medical Center. The daughter of the late Joseph Menesale and Elvera (Apperti) Menesale was born on April 15, 1942 in Beverly, MA. Connie was predeceased by her husband, Donald R. Dempsey, Sr., her son, Donald R. Dempsey, Jr., her longtime partner, Frederick Amidon, her brother, Joseph Menesale and her sister, Fran McCarthy. Connie graduated from Beverly High School in 1960 and pursued a career as a secretary and administrative assistant. She retired from the City of Quincy after 10 years and before that she spent many years working for the Center for Human Development in Springfield, MA as an executive secretary. She was an incredible, loving and generous Mother, Nana and Aunt. Her children always came first and she enjoyed being outdoors and building snowmen and playing football with them and their friends when they were young. She loved playing the slots at any casino she stumbled upon on her journeys. She enjoyed sipping her frozen coffee while visiting with family and friends. Connie was the epitome of a Hallmark Christmas Movie and couldn’t wait to decorate for the holidays and sing Christmas songs. She was always the person you could talk to about anything, the person you could vent to without judgement and the person who would help you solve your problems no matter what sacrifice she had to make. She was the type of Mom that would wait up for you if you lived to be 100 just to make sure you were ok. After relocating to Cape Cod after the death of her husband, Connie returned to Western MA and spent the rest of her years enjoying time with family and close friends. Connie leaves behind her daughter, Maureen Dempsey-Basile and her husband Chris Basile, her granddaughter, Teah Dempsey and her fiancé Artur Tkachenko, her brother in law, Richard McCarthy, her niece, Karen and husband Todd Bloodgood, her great niece, Olivia Bloodgood and her beloved dog Chloe.
