Constance Eunice (Gillette) Mulcahy, 82, passed away Thursday at Holyoke Medical Center. She was born in Springfield to the late Blanda (Gamache) and Lawrence Gillette and had lived most of her life in W. Spfld. Constance worked as a secretary at Holyoke Hospital in the Utilization Review Department for years. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Springfield. Constance was predeceased by her husband, West Springfield Deputy Fire Chief, Joseph Mulcahy in 1999. She leaves her loving daughters, Eileen Giroux and her husband Philip of Hampden and Kathleen Riley of W. Spfld., her adored grandsons, Adam Riley and his wife Danielle and Daniel Riley and his wife Kristie, three great-grandchildren, Brennan, Lillian and Lucille, her brother, Lawrence Gillette, Jr., special cousins, Carol Shea and Joyce Coupal, as well as many other cousins and nieces and nephews. Constance was predeceased by her son-in-law Patrick Riley. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 9AM-10:00AM at theTOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld., followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11AM in Sacred Heart Church, 387 Chestnut Street, Spfld. The burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery.
