Shelburne - David A. Healey, 53, passed tragically on July 22, 2016. David was born August 30, 1962 in Springfield, son of Allyne and the late Shirley (Blanchard) Healey. David was a lifelong resident of West Springfield and a graduate of West Springfield High School before he moved to Shelburne. David was a passionate and compelling man whose love for all things was evident in the care he took to nurture and preserve the world around him. His beautiful gardens, the love he showered on his family, the kindness he bestowed all living things was evident to all who knew him. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, David had an appreciation for higher education, art and American history. Educated in Modern European History and Russian languages, David�enjoyed discussing politics and ideas. His true passion in this life was his love for the theatrical stage. He lived his life true to his values, never wavering from the authentic, loyal friend that we all knew him to be.�He is survived by his loving wife April (LaValley) Healey of Shelburne, his father Allyne of Bradenton, FL, his sister Luanne Sunstrom and her husband Gordon of Westfield, Carol Beaurgard and her husband Rick of Pepperell, MA, and his brother Joel Healey of Westfield. He was the cherished uncle to Cory MacDonald, Shirley Pike, TJ Flynn, Kelley Flynn, Michael Fynn, Amber Healey, Jessica Healey, Elena Beauregard, and Hadley Beauregard. There will be a Celebration of Life event held�on August 13th from 12:00pm until 5:00pm�at the Majestic Theater located at�131 Elm Street, West Springfield. Contributions made to the David A. Healey Foundation at Greenfield Northampton Cooperative Bank at�62 Federal Street, Greenfield, MA will be gifted to children's charities, breast cancer research and scholarship.
