Deborah A. Murray passed away peacefully, December 22, 2023, at home with her beloved husband and children by her side. She was born in Springfield on May 18,1953. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Florence (Kulis)Suares. Debbie was predeceased by her son Andrew Murray (2017), her daughter Neely Murray (2022),
and her sister Darlene Murray (2008).
Debbie worked at Poly Plating for many years before becoming a homemaker. It was her greatest joy to take care of her family and help out many others along the way.
Debbie loved her family. She was the most amazing “Mimi.” Debbie especially loved to watch her grandchildren in all their sporting events or any activities they were involved in. Debbie enjoyed cooking, crafts, dining out and shopping.
She is survived by her devoted husband Andrew T. Murray and their loving children, Cheryl Spaeth and her husband Gary; Darlene Phelan, and her husband, William;
Ishmael, Carlos, Brendan, Michael and his wife Billie; Luis and his wife Ashley.
Debbie also leaves her cherished grandchildren: Clyde and Natalie Spaeth,
Alexis and Samuel Phelan, Zahryah Murray
Kayliannie, Lanessa, Maliah, and Nikayle Murray.
She is also survived by a brother Mark, and three sisters Denise, Kathy and Doreen,
as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and her lifelong friend Sue.
Debbie will be remembered for her selfless nature, a huge caring heart, crazy sense of humor, and most of all her great love for her family. She will be eternally missed and loved by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for 5 to 7 on Thursday 12/28 with memorial service to follow at 7 PM at Toomey O’Brien funeral home West Springfield. In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation in Deborah’s name to the D’Amour Center for Cancer Care in Springfield, Mass.
