Obituary
Diane M. Kulha, 69, passed away suddenly Thursday, September 16 in Santa Barbara, CA, from a brain aneurysm. She was born in Springfield on Sept. 27, 1951 to the late John and Emily (Pirog) Kulha. Diane was a graduate of West Springfield High, Framingham State College and Salve Regina University in Rhode Island. She worked as a Software Engineer and volunteered as a Holistic Counselor. Diane lived in Bristol, RI from 1985 until she moved to Ventura, CA in 2015 to be closer to family. She enjoyed gardening, reading, painting watercolors, playing cards and games and socializing with family and friends. She was the loving sister of Denise Picard and her husband Bob of Ventura, CA, Jason Kulha of Fort Worth, TX, and the late James Kulha (2001). Diane will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace with the Lord, our God. Calling hours will be Thurs., Oct. 14, from 9:00 am – 10:30 am at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Springfield followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Springfield. The burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in Diane’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
