Diane T. Lavoice

Lifelong West Springfield resident Diane Theresa LaVoice, 67, died peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Springfield to the late Donald and Elizabeth (Ahern) LaVoice and was a 1976 graduate of West Springfield High School. An avid NASCAR fan, Diane also loved country music, her beloved cats and anything Disney. She also loved visiting the American Legion to enjoy live music with her longtime friend Terri Vanasse. In addition to her parents, Diane was also predeceased by her longtime companion Richard Turcotte. She will be sadly missed by her three devoted siblings; Richard LaVoice, Dorothy Bernard and Donna Defant as well as 3 nieces, 5 nephews, 3 great-nephews and 3 great-nieces. Family and friends are invited to gather for Diane’s Funeral Home Service on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Toomey O’Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., West Springfield. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA 01105.
