Diane L. Stawiarz

Diane L. (Breveleri) Stawiarz, 75, died unexpectedly on Friday, July 28, 2023. She was born in Springfield to the late Marfico and Catherine (Plazzo) Breveleri, and was raised in West Springfield. Diane was a graduate of West Springfield High School, Class of 1966. After graduation, she moved to San Francisco, CA and spent two years living and working there. Upon returning home, she met her husband-to-be Stanley. Through him, she discovered her love of Harleys. She would ride with her partner, Bob Jackson, as often as weather permitted. Her favorite words to Bob were “bike ride,” and off they went. Diane’s love of animals led her to her chosen occupation of dog and cat grooming. Diane was a talented Groomer, most recently at Mt. Tom Boarding and Grooming Kennel in Holyoke. She is survived by her partner of more than 20 years Robert Jackson, brother Don Breveleri (Sandra), nieces and nephews; Brian Breveleri (Heather), Kevin Breveleri (partner Andrea), Shannon Berube (Randy) and Erin Breveleri, great nieces and nephews; Taylor and Noah Breveleri, Ashley and Joshua Berube, Ryan DaSilva and Luca Breveleri, as well as many cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, Diane was also predeceased by her husband Stanley Stawiarz. Services for Diane will be private and at the convenience of the family. Toomey O’Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
