Southwick, Dolores (Calzolari) Molta, 92, peacefully passed away on January 27, 2024. Born in Westfield, on December 9, 1931, to the late Eugene and Evelyn (Miles) Calzolari, she lived most of her life in Westfield and Southwick. Dolores worked many years for William A. Hurley Insurance Company and retired from Bank of America. She is survived by her caring daughter, Deborah Elias and her husband Aziz of Martha’s Vineyard, her devoted sister, Gail Healey of Springfield, six grandchildren, Vanessa Boyington, Angela Costello (John Accorsi), Pamela Molta Sullivan (Kevin), Alexa McCabe (Martin), Adam Elias (Katie), Alex Elias (Lauren) and ten great-grandchildren, as well as her sister in law Jennie Molta, several nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John R. Molta, son James R. Molta and his wife Leslie, great-grandchildren Addison and Sophia McCabe and Isla Rose Elias, her siblings, Richard “Chuck” Calzolari and Elaine (Sis) Dolan, as well as other departed members of the Calzolari and Molta families. A funeral mass will be held Thursday February 1, 2024, at 11AM at the Sacred Heart Church 387 Chestnut St Springfield with a calling hour from 10-11AM at the church. Burial will be in St Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield.
