Obituary
Donald E Whitehouse, 64, passed away January 22, 2018. Born in Springfield, he was the son of Donald E. Whitehouse of West Brookfield and the late Lucille (Chechile) Whitehouse. Donnie was passionate about health, fitness and body building. He was a brown belt in karate and went on to be an instructor. Donnie married Lisa Fitzgerald-Chase on April 24, 1982. He attended Springfield Technical High School, STCC and studied computers at the Technical Career Institute graduating in 1982. Donnie survived a train accident working as a truck driver on April 18, 1991 and although his journey was difficult, he never failed to find the humor. Most importantly, he loved and cherished his children and grandchildren. Besides his father he leaves his loving children, Erica Whitehouse of West Springfield, Samantha Peet of Hubbardston and Christopher of Virginia Beach, VA., his cherished grandchildren, Arianna, Isabella, Alexandria, Victoria, Kameron, Jacob and Laylah. A funeral home service will be Tuesday at noon at the Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield with a calling hour from 11-12.
