Eileen M. (Fuller) Romani – 1930-2025, passed away on December 6th. Eileen was a twin daughter of Earl and Mary Fuller. She was predeceased by her twin Kathleen Harmon. Eileen was married to Dr. Bernard J. Romani who passed in 1996. She was the mother of Michael (Chicako), Richard, Theresa Skehan (Michael), Eileen Murphy (Timothy), Bernard (Lou) and Robert. Grandmother to nine grandchildren, Brian, Meghan, Sarah, Brandon Kristina, Daniel, Joseph, Lucas, and was predeceased by Nicholas Romani. Great grandmother to fourteen: Isa, Nora, Lorelai, Josie, Cece, Michaela, Sam, Michaela, Bernie, Megu, Virginia, Bridget, Earl, and Andrew. Eileen grew up in Westfield and attended St. Francis Nursing School and subsequently worked as a Registered Nurse at Western Mass Hospital. She was a former West Side Tapper, an accomplished artist, creating heirloom quality cross stich, paintings, and knitting. She was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Westfield where she served as an Extraordinary Minister and was a member of the Rosary Sodality. She leaves two brother in laws, Jack Leary and Vincent Romani, and a sister-in-law, Jackie Romani, as well as Madlyn Murphy, many nephews and nieces. Eileen’s funeral mass will be held Friday December 12, 2025, at 11AM at Our Lady of The Blessed Sacrament Church 127 Holyoke Rd Westfield with burial to follow in St Mary’s Cemetery. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Friends of Grandmothers Garden, Inc. PO Box 1432, Westfield, MA 01086. A garden next to where she grew up and had many happy memories.
