West Springfield- Elaine Anne (Nadrowski) Dunham, 70, passed away Tuesday at Country Estates in Agawam. She was born in Holyoke to the late Helen (Teczar) and Peter Nadrowski and has lived in West Springfield for 45 years. Elaine was a 1963 graduate of Holyoke High School and a 1967 graduate of the UMass School of Nursing. She taught nursing at Western Mass Hospital for 15 years and was the Coordinator for Research and Education at Shriners Hospitals for Children for over 20 years. Elaine was a passionate advocate for children with special needs. Elaine leaves her beloved husband of 47 years, George E. Dunham, her loving daughter, Heather L. Katsoulis and her husband Jim of Turners Falls, her adored grandchildren, Syna and Page Katsoulis, her caring sister, Janice Kwasnik and her husband Gary of W. Spfld. and their son Jason of Nevada and many nieces and nephews. Sadly, Elaine was predeceased by her beloved son, Timothy M. Dunham in 1998. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7PM at the TOOMEY-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield St. W. Spfld. There will be an 11AM graveside service Friday at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Silver Street, Westfield.
