Elaine M. (Simonich) Wanat

West Springfield -Elaine M. (Simonich) Wanat, 66, passed away Wednesday March 15. Born in Springfield, July 10, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Frances (Krzynowek) Simonich. Elaine managed various hairdressing salons in the area including Frank and Titos, Image Makers II, Lorelie�s and Debron�s. She loved to travel with her late husband, Wayne who passed away in 2004. Elaine will be especially remembered for her Halloween tradition of making homemade popcorn for all the neighborhood children. Elaine loved to garden, the Big E and had a great sense of humor. She leaves her loving siblings, Patricia Yagmin (Alan) of Adams, Marie Garczynski (Robert) of Chicopee, Jane Pawlishen (Michael) of S. Hadley, Cynthia Kwiecien (Walter) of Chicopee, Sandra Cote (Gary) of Chicopee, Michael Simonich of San Francisco, CA and Theresa Ankiewicz (Wesley) of Chicopee, her 14 beloved nieces and nephews and her 6 loving grand nieces and nephews. A Funeral Home Service will be held Wednesday at 6pm at the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home,1043 Westfield St., West Springfield with calling hours from 4-6pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one�s choice.
