Obituary
- Eleanor M. (Stephenson) Bishopric, passed away March 5th, 2021 peacefully at home with her beloved family by her side. She was an only child born August 2nd, 1923 in Springfield, MA to the late Grace (Jones) and late Ernest Stephenson. Eleanor worked in the insurance industry for many years, first at Mass Mutual then Connecticut General Life Insurance. She was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church in West Springfield along with being the first secretary of The First Baptist Church. She was an avid reader and loved to travel and volunteered her time at the senior center’s travel club. Eleanor was predeceased by her loving husband Paul E. Bishopric of 69 years. She leaves behind their only child Janet E. Jueckstock, only granddaughter Alexandria Jueckstock-Adorno and her spouse Jellisa Adorno. She also leaves behind two great-grandchildren who she loved very much. There will be service arrangements at a later date. Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 337 Piper Road, W. Springfield, MA 01089.
