Elizabeth L Fraczek

Elizabeth “Betty” (Bertera) Fraczek, 95, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Holyoke, July 31, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Cecilia (Mulcahy) Bertera. Betty was a graduate of West Springfield High School and lived her entire life in Westside. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Fraczek in 2008 and her son Joseph “Skip” Fraczek in 2021. Betty leaves two daughters, Joni Fraczek Spadoni of West Springfield and Betsy Wise (Dean) of Brevard, NC, her sister, Joan Slowick of Southampton, her beloved grandchildren, Jake Fraczek of Los Angeles, CA, Zach and Nick Wise of NC and Mike Spadoni of West Springfield, her beloved great grandchildren, Tanner and Logan Wise, her daughter in law, Kathleen Colleton Fraczek and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Baystate Hospice for their wonderful care and kindness. All services are private. The Toomey-O’Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
