Obituary
Elizabeth (Betty) R. Clark, 95, passed away July 30, 2018 at JGS in Longmeadow. She was born in Stamford, CT. Nov. 9th, 1922, the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Reed. Betty lived in West Springfield most of her adult life and worked for many years at the former WestBank before going to work and retiring from the family business Tri-Country Contractor’s Supply. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing and loved to read. Betty was predeceased by her husband Robert Clark Sr., in 2001. She leaves her daughter Leslie Yvon of Westfield and her son Robert Clark Jr., and his wife Ann of W. Spfld., her 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her daughters Joann Haserick, Suzanne Cook and sons-in-law Bob Cook and James Yvon. Funeral Services will be held FRI 8:45 AM at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST., followed by a 10 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine St., W. Spfld. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held THURS from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Western Mass Hospice, 1325 Springfield Street – Suite 12, Feeding Hills, MA. 01030 or the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place., Memphis, TN 38105
