Elizabeth A. Vitro

West Springfield- Elizabeth Ann Vitro, 93, passed away Wednesday at Mount St. Vincent in Holyoke. She was born in Greenfield to the late Angela (LoGiudice) and Domenico Vitro and has lived in West Springfield for the last 40 years. Elizabeth worked as a Secretary at Northeast Utilities until her retirement in 1986. After her retirement she served as secretary at St. Anthony Maronite Church in Spfld. She was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in W. Spfld. Besides her parents Elizabeth was predeceased by her brother, Vito F. Vitro in 1983. Elizabeth leaves her sister-in-law, Theresa Devine of Agawam, her beloved nieces and nephews, Susan Zukowski and her husband Art of W. Spfld., Mary T. Vitro of Spfld., Thomas Vitro and his wife Linda of Westfield, Vincent Vitro of Los Angeles and Sharon Vitro of Los Angeles and great-nieces and great-nephew, Angela, Kristina and Nick Zukowski. There will be a Funeral Home Service Wednesday, 12-Noon at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St.,W. Spfld., a calling hour will precede the service from 11-12.The burial will be private. The family would like to thank the third floor staff at Mount St. Vincent Care Center for the exceptional care they gave Elizabeth during her stay.
