Estelle M. (Avery) Johnson

Estelle M. (Avery) Johnson, 78, of Prince Avenue passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Tuesday at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on January 22nd, 1937 in Thompsonville, CT. She attended school and grew up there. She has lived in West Springfield most of her life. Estelle was an active member of the Grace Lutheran Church in West Springfield. She was also a member and volunteer at the West Springfield Senior Center. Estelle was predeceased by her mother Florence Avery. She was the loving mother of Debi Cotney of West Spfld., David Johnson of S. Hadley, George Johnson of West Spfld., and Allen Bennett of FL, caring sister of Lawrence Avery of Enfield, beloved grandmother of Cherish, Star-Lee, Christy, and Ashlee, and beloved great grandmother of Giovanna and Madeline. The funeral will be Monday 9 AM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Spfld., followed at 10 AM by a Funeral Service at the Grace Lutheran Church, 1553 Westfield Street, West Spfld. Burial will be at 11 AM at the Massachusetts Veterans� Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Calling hours are Sunday 4-6 PM at the funeral home.
