Obituary
Evgeni S. Matvejuk, 71, passed away Feb. 21, 2020 in Mercy Hospital. He was born in Belarus on Dec. 27, 1948 to the late Stepan and Maria Matvejuk. Evgeni enjoyed gardening, fixing things and had a great sense of humor. A devoted Christian, he played the guitar, sang in the church choir and was a good father to his four children. He leaves his loving wife Valentina (Boltunova), his children; Dimitri Matvejuk of Spfld., Lucy Matvejuk of Chicopee, Evelina Matvejuk of Spfld., and Alexander Matvejuk of Chicopee, his granddaughter Allison Matvejuk, a sister Olga Antipenkova, and his half-brother Salva along with several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother Victor Matveiuk. A Funeral Home Service will be held FRI 11 AM at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST., W. SPFLD. Burial will follow in Agawam Center Cemetery. A Calling Hour will be held FRIDAY from 10 to 11 AM.
