Florence �Flo� V. (Altobelli) Lozza of West Springfield, MA, 85, passed away unexpectedly on Friday January 20, 2017, at Baystate Medical Center. Flo was born June 2, 1931, in Ortona Italy, the beloved daughter of the late Carmen and Gioconda (Bartera) Altobelli. Flo graduated from West Springfield High School and worked for Zayre and Ames for many years before retiring to her dream job at Quail Run. She was a communicant of the former St. Ann Church, a chapter member of the Agawam and West Springfield Senior Centers. Flo lived a full life and touched the lives on many along her journey. She was kind, loving, compassionate, generous and had a colorful sense of humor. Her life was blessed with the love of her closest friends and family. She enjoyed reading, bingo and traveling in her younger years. She is survived by her beloved son, David Lozza of West Springfield and sister-in-law Margaret Altobelli of Agawam. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Lozza of 60 years, her son Stephen Lozza, her brothers Rodolfo �Rudy� and Aldo �Yado� Altobelli, her sister Eileen (Altobelli) Bronner and nephew Paul V. Trimboli. She also leaves her beloved nieces and nephews, Lisa Touchette, Theresa Nicholson and fianc� Vincent Borgatti, Raymond Bronner, Christine and husband Roger Sircar, Kathleen and husband Anthony Cortese, Robert and wife Kim Altobelli, Nancy Altobelli, Michael Altobelli, Lisa Altobelli, Maria Ashley, Dino Ashley, Christopher Ashley, Anthony Ashley and Kim Matt. Many great nieces and nephews including, Jennifer and husband Sean Navone, Nicole Nicholson, James Nicholson, Brittany Bronner, Bailey Bronner, Colin Bronner, Paul Trimboli, Sara Matt and Timothy Ashley. The special lights of her life, her great-great nieces and nephews, Chase, Kaden, Karter, Kolby and Kali. A funeral home service will be held Wednesday January 25, 2017 at noon from the Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home 1043 Westfield St West Springfield with burial to follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service from 11-12. Donations may be made to the Springfield Rescue Mission P.O.
