Obituary
Frances Wanda (Zielinski) Mahoney, 86 of Westfield, passed away peacefully Saturday, February 1st.  Frances was born in Ludlow on September 3, 1933 daughter to the late William and Mary (Lazor) Zielinski. She grew up in Indian Orchard and settled in Westfield. She was a dental hygienist for many years before her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Peter’s Church in Westfield. Frances was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, William L. Mahoney.  She is survived by her loving children Eileen Kleis and her husband Kenneth of Southwick, Matthew Mahoney and his wife Margaret of Sutton, MA, and William Mahoney and his wife Debra of Agawam.  She was the cherished Grammy to Richard, Kristen, Michelle, Maura, Brittany, Brenden, and Colin and great grandmother to Hadley, Lucas, Lyric and Kayleigh. She will also be dearly missed by her brother Robert, his wife Laurel and daughter Corrie of Papillion Nebraska, as well as by all who knew her.  Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street in West Springfield.  A Liturgy of Christian Burial on Monday at 11:00 am at St. Peters Church, 22 State Street in Westfield.  Burial to follow at Mass. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be sent in Fances’ name to Dominican Nuns, 140 Riverdale Street, West Springfield MA, 01089.
