West Springfield, Francis A Beaudry, 86, passed away Tuesday at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Holyoke, he was the son of the late Arthur and Alicia (Koeber) Beaudry. Fran was a graduate of Holyoke High School and received his Undergraduate degree from American International College and Master�s Degrees from American International College and Westfield State University. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He taught in the Windsor Locks School System for 37 years, where he was Head of the Math Department. He coached the High School golf and girls� soccer teams for many years. He was a communicant of St Thomas Church, a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus in West Springfield and coached youth soccer and baseball in West Springfield. Fran was an avid golfer and won the club championship at Holyoke Country Club. He also won the left handed Mass Amateur and New England Golf Championships. Francis was a Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching their games. He spent many summers in Hampton Beach and winters on Marco Island, FL with his loving wife and family. Fran leaves his beloved wife of 59 years, Alyce (Kelley) Beaudry, his loving children, Kathlyn Nowak and her husband Robert of Wayland, Matthew Beaudry and his wife Katie of Weston, and Kelley MacDonald and her husband Paul of North Andover, his ten loving grandchildren, Jonathan, Alison, Brian, William, Laura, Matthew, Annie, Christopher, Sarah and Caroline. The funeral mass will be held Friday at 10:30 am at St Thomas Church with burial to follow in St Thomas Cemetery.
