Frank R. Panetta

Frank R. Panetta, 98, passed away Feb. 14, 2023. He was born Dec. 16, 1924 to the late Frank and Beatrice (Mazzariello) Panetta. Frank proudly served in the US Army during WW II and was a member of the D.A.V. He worked as a machine operator at the former General Offset & Printing. Frank enjoyed music and was the drummer in the band The TriTones for many years. He was predeceased by his wife Nicla (Peccerini) Panetta in 2022. Frank leaves his children; Maurice Panetta of W. Spfld and Tina Douillard and her husband Don of Spfld and he was predeceased by his daughters; Beatrice Brown (2015) and Judy Roberts (2019). He also leaves his four grandchildren; Frank, William, Robert, and George and his five great grandchildren; Delaney, Emilee, Brandon, Breanne, and Ethan. Frank was also predeceased by his sister Tina Skowron (2007). A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held FRIDAY at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 123 Williams St., Spfld, MA. Burial will follow at 11 AM at the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam. Calling Hours will be held THURS from 4 to 6 PM at the TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 WESTFIELD ST., W.SPFLD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
