West Springfield – Gail A. Bourcier passed away on Thursday, September 19 in Springfield. She was 86 years old. Born in Springfield on January 17, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Pearl (Felton) Greene. Gail was a lifelong resident of West Springfield and worked for years at Premoid Paper Company. Gail’s varied interests and activities included league bowling and golf, sewing, cooking, baking and gardening. She got special joy from procuring “perfect” vintage Christmas ornaments. Gail was predeceased by her loving husband Roger; and sisters Phyllis Howe and Carla Vignato. She will be missed by her brother Philip Greene of West Springfield; nieces Lisa (Mike Fearn) Vignato, Gina (Barry) Mesick, Sharon Albee, Diana Bertling, Darlene Vignato, Lori (Donald) Gallerani; and nephews Gino (Jennifer) Vignato, Richard Greene and Brad Howe. Visitation will be 10-11AM on September 30, with a Memorial Service at 11AM at TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME in West Springfield. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
