Gary W. Yefko

West Springfield � Gary Wayne Yefko, 72, passed away peacefully April 19, 2017, at home surrounded by his loving family. Gary was born in Westfield to the late Stanley B. and Nellie V. (Tkaczuk) Yefko. He grew up in Westfield and was a graduate from Westfield High School upon graduation he attended the International Institute of Interior Designs in Washington D.C. Gary was an interior designer for over 37 years working as the Senior Decorator for Botarra-Skolnik. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. Gary was a world traveler and his favorite vacations were to the Old China, African Safari, Europe, Asia, and Egypt. Gary is survived by his beloved partner and the best man he ever loved for over 50 years, Richard Skinner. He also leaves his sister, Audrey O�Connell of Westfield, his very dear friends, Mary Ellen Otto of Rayhem, MA, Danny Boucher of Westfield and David Ketchum of Provincetown, MA. A private burial will take place at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gary�s name to your local animal shelter. Toomey-O�Brien Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
