Geraldine "Gerri" Frances (Emery) Martin

Geraldine �Gerri� Frances (Emery) Martin, 70, passed away Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 at Wingate of Hampden. She was born in Springfield on February 18, 1947 to the late Ronald and Agnes (Sullivan) Emery. She lived in Springfield most of her life. Gerri worked in accounts payable at the corporate office of Big Y and also at several local companies in the area. She was�predeceased by her husband�James F. Martin in 2004 and her only sister Kathleen A. Hanna in 2008. Beloved mother of Joseph Allen of Worcester, Stephen Allen of Springfield and Dawn Bucalo and her husband David of Chicopee, devoted grandmother of Nicholas Grunden and Lauren LaPointe. Gerri also leaves several nieces and nephews. There will be a Funeral Home Service Saturday, Jan 13, 2018 at 11 AM at the TOOMEY-O�BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 1043 Westfield Street, West Spfld., followed by a burial at St. Thomas Cemetery in West Springfield. There will be a calling hour preceding the service at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 AM.
